My Story
My name is Mary Wheeler Bullock. I am a 52 year old, single licensed social worker. In addition, I am the mother of two grown daughters. I became divored at the tender age of 30, and my daughters were ages two and four. I had to create a life plan to raise them, and to have a career to support my family and date at the same time. Over the past 32 years, a lot has happened. One of my grown daughters is a third year law student at Duke. The other daughter is a manager at a fortune 500 company and is currenly working on her MBA.
Over the past 32 years a lot has happened. In 32 years I have earned an MBA, started a business, purchased a home and I am an experienced dater. I decided to start this blog to help other single people with dating and relationship issues. Relationships can be between you and the other parent, between you and a significant other or between you and your children. I have developed and published some great strategies to help you have great relationships. For example like, " The ten questions to ask before you fall in love," or how to spot givers and takers in a relationship and how to make things happen in your life. In other words if you get lemons, how to make lemonade.
As a therpaist and a business owner with an MBA, I have been able to be one of the people that "Make things happen in my life." In my opinion there are three types of people. there are people that, "Make things happen," there are people that ,"Watch things happen," and the unfortunate people that, "Wonder, what happened?"
